I’ve been enjoying this blog thing since I decided to get back into it.  Right now I think this is more of a creative outlet than anything else, kind of a way to disconnect from the busyness of life and work.

A little about me: I married to a fabulous guy and we are the sometimes rather annoyed proud parents of a dog and cat. Without fail, the cat will cuddle up to my butt so I can’t move when sleeping and the dog will bark just as I am about to fall asleep, but I can’t imagine the house without them.  We live in the country, and I wouldn’t have it any other way, I have really come to enjoy the privacy (funny since I have this blog).

I am a teacher (currently grade 6) and love all the job has to offer.  Yes, there are days that drive me crazy and I can’t wait for them to end, but those days are usually balanced with days that are wonderful and my students amaze me.

We tend to do most of our travelling with a fifth-wheel in tow, although we have been known to be wild and crazy and actually take an airplane somewhere.  The majority of our travel over the past few years has been NASCAR related (I’m a good wife!) but I would like to figure out how I can get that travel to Europe or Australia without the cost (if you have any ideas I’d been game to hear them).
